This resource, which exists in the form of a webpage, explores our principles of effective public engagement and a collection of three success stories from Egypt, the Carteret Islands and Scotland. These case studies reveal common strategies and approaches that underpin successful public engagement, despite differences in location and culture.
Organisations, community groups and governments can draw inspiration from these strategies and successfully apply them to other contexts in which effective public engagement can be carried out to achieve long-lasting and impactful change. Many thanks to the IKEA Foundation for supporting this work as part of our Climate Engagement Initiative programme.
