It outlines why UK climate discourse must better consider the perspectives of different ethnicities and recommends actions that researchers, research funders, insights commissioners and campaigners can take.
Climate Outreach is hosting 'Unlocking the ACE potential of public engagement at COPs' at Better Fortunes Forum in Australia this September.

This session will start with an overview of what article 12 ACE is and its progress so far. Speakers will also share relevant research, valuable insights and stories from their communities.
Speakers include; First Nations elders, youth leaders, ACE advocates, CSO leaders and policymakers/ negotiators They will explore the opportunities ACE offers for developing fair and equitable climate policies, raising climate ambitions and bridging local communities with international climate negotiations.
This brand new in-person workshop will be participative, practical and case study based. It will enable you to work on adapting your communications to the different segments which exist across Cumbria right down to a local level.
Organised and introduced by CAfS for Zero Carbon Cumbria, the workshop will will be delivered by Luisa Melloh from Climate Outreach and chaired by Karen Mitchell who is Co-Chair of Zero Carbon Cumbria and Chief Executive of CAfS.
Engaging communities to develop their range of low carbon transport choices will help residents change their travel for the better.
This webinar will bring together experts to discuss a range of communication approaches and case studies from local authorities across the country to demonstrate the benefits of developing community engagement beyond the standard consultation model. Our Researcher, Emma James, will join the panel.
