Climate Visuals is an evidence-based resource for visual climate change communication, based on social research with thousands of people in three countries. It includes a growing library of photographs to provide inspiration and guidance for campaigners, picture editors and communications practitioners selecting imagery for communicating climate change.
The video below provides a 4-minute snapshot of our very first Climate Visuals masterclass in London in September 2017, featuring perspectives from participants and speakers. We are currently scheduling future Climate Visuals masterclasses - do sign up to our newsletter to receive updates!
As Laurie Goering from our partner Thomson Reuters Foundation says in the video above, “People believe what they see with their eyes... If we can change the visual image of what climate change is in a lot of people’s heads, that has to drive action on climate change.”
