Our charity unites people from across society to a common goal: acting for a safer world.
- Break climate silence
- Work with the people who make the most difference
- Defend the rights of the people most affected by climate change
All our work needs to be funded and a regular income from donations gives us the stability and the opportunity to plan ahead with confidence. Our most groundbreaking and impactful work can often be difficult to fund through conventional streams.
Gift aid is a fantastic method of tax-effective giving, which will allow us to spread our message – at no extra cost to you. The Government’s Gift Aid scheme allows us to reclaim tax on donations from April 2000 and into the future. This means that for every £1 you give to Climate Outreach, we can now reclaim 25p from the Inland Revenue. All you have to do is tick the Gift Aid box, which means that you confirm that you are a UK tax-payer and that you are happy for us to reclaim the tax. All donations qualify – large or small, regular or one-off, and whatever the method of payment.
We are a small charity that ‘punches above its weight’ by keeping its core costs to a minimum. We are able to do this because we have a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and trustees all of whom work hard to deliver high quality, ground breaking projects. We believe in transparency and our accounts are publicly available.
We strive to make sure every donation has the greatest impact in tackling climate change. We especially welcome gifts that are made unconditionally because this allows us to direct gifts to the areas of greatest need.
