Group of people in discussion

Our team is one of the best things about Climate Outreach, and we seek to retain and attract talented and diverse staff.

We’ll list any openings below. If there aren’t any right now, or any that fit your qualifications, sign up to our monthly newsletter to hear about any upcoming vacancies.

For most of our roles, we use the BeApplied recruitment platform, which aims to overcome unconscious bias in recruiting.

Have a look at our values as an organisation – the guiding principles for our work, and how we work together – to see if you think we’d be a good fit.

Request for proposals - Australia Programme Lead

Deadline for proposals: 4 December

Climate Outreach is working in partnership with Macdoch foundation, Multicultural Leadership Initiative and Cricket for Climate on a programme that has been in development for the last year in Australia. Its headline objective is to contribute to a reduction in polarisation around the climate change debate in Australia, by working closely with a selection of national partners to elevate the profile of a diversity of ‘everyday Australians’ who care about the issue but are less often heard. Australia Talking Climate is the working title of the programme.

In order to successfully deliver this programme, we’re looking to find a delivery partner based in Australia, the Australia Programme Lead, for the next 15 – 18 months (with a view to extend further by another 12 months), who will be the public face, strategic lead, and delivery body for Phase B of this programme, working with national and local partners across three main work packages. The Australia Programme Lead will be supported by an Advisory Board from Climate Outreach to facilitate knowledge exchange and strategic guidance throughout the programme. The Australia Programme Lead will report to the Deputy CEO of Climate Outreach.

We will be welcoming proposals from individual applicants, joint applicants, existing organisations and individuals with intent to register a legal entity. If this opportunity is not for you, please help us share this advert within your networks.

Please download the Request for proposals document below for full details on the project, proposed terms, specification criteria and process for submitting proposals. If you have any questions or queries about this request for proposals, please contact Martha Wiltshire at australia@climateoutreach.org.
