This time last year we launched the latest edition of our Britain Talks Climate toolkit to help anyone trying to engage with people in England, Scotland and Wales on climate and nature issues.

The toolkit is a compass to understand people’s priorities, questions and concerns and is based on findings from a study of more than 5000 people, carried out between December 2023 and March 2024. The research has been designed to reveal closely-held beliefs about climate and nature, and is underpinned by values rather than voting choices. For this reason we believe it remains deeply relevant to understanding how people think and feel about the environment in Britain in 2025.

We have five essential resources designed to support different communication needs. Whether you work in advocacy and campaigning on environment issues, the provision of services like warmer homes or simply want to know how to better connect with your audience to meet your organisation’s targets, these evidence-based resources will give you the reassurance you need to communicate effectively and gain your audience’s trust.
